Ice Cream Cupcakes Have Arrived at MaggieMoo’s Treateries First Cupcake You Can Eat with a Spoon

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, July 22, 2006 - MaggieMoo’s International has added new ice cream cupcakes to its selection of award-winning ice creams and desserts.  A first in the ice cream industry, these ice cream cupcakes are available in the Memphis Peabody Place, Collierville and Southaven MaggieMoo’s Treateries. 

“It’s the first cupcake you can eat with a spoon,” said Velma Bobo, owner of the three treateries. “Cupcakes are no longer just for kids, they are quickly becoming a delicious dessert adults love too.”

The original MaggieMoo’s ice cream cupcake consists of award-winning dark chocolate ice cream, a layer of chocolate cake and marshmallow filling, all topped with chocolate ganache and a swirl of Better Crème. 

“Although this is the signature cupcake flavor, we have creative license to make any design and flavor of cupcakes,” said Bobo.  “Customers also can stop by the stores and custom-order cupcakes for birthday parties and special events.”

The ice cream cupcakes can be purchased in four- and six-pack containers and range in price from $8.95 to $12.95. 

The three MaggieMoo’s Treateries in the greater Memphis area are located at Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center, 150 Peabody Place; 1010 W. Poplar in Collierville, and the Southaven Towne Center at 6519 Towne Center Crossing.
