Peabody Place’s Maggie Moo’s

Tops National Operations in Sales

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, May 1, 2006 – Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Treatery in Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center, 150 Peabody Place, took home two of the top awards at the company’s recent National Conference. The store, operated by Velma Bobo, won first place for Most Improved Operations and first place for Top Company Sales.

The Maggie Moo’s National Conference, held in Las Vegas, recognized outstanding achievements among the company’s close to 200 stores around the world.

 “We are extremely excited for Velma and the Maggie Moo’s team,” said Andrew J. Groveman, senior vice president of Belz. “Maggie Moo’s prime location in Peabody Place coupled with Velma’s strong management and customer service skills make it easy to see why this location is gaining national recognition within the Maggie Moo’s company.”

Bobo, along with her children, operates two other Maggie Moo’s in the Memphis-area, one in Southaven and one in Collierville.
