For Third Consecutive Year...

FAMILIAR LANDMARK GOES UP DOWNTOWN, LARGEST SIGN IN CITY
Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center Captures Memphians' Attention

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Tuesday, April 11, 2002 – The Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center recently unveiled its new building wrap. For the third consecutive year, the old Toof Building at Madison Avenue and Third Street downtown, is home to the largest outdoor sign in the city.

The sign, which is in two parts, covers two sides of the Toof Building. The larger sign, covering the west wall of the building measures 145 feet wide and 64 feet long. The smaller sign, measuring 74 feet wide and 60 feet long, faces AutoZone Park.

This year's version of the sign, full of vibrant, energetic colors features a group of smiling people.

"We are excited to unveil the latest version of our building wrap enticing Memphians to 'come downtown and play,'" Andrew J. Groveman, senior vice president, Belz Enterprises said. "We're pleased the sign continues to capture the attention of Memphians and that it has become such a familiar fixture downtown."

The sign was produced and installed by Britten Media, who brought the sign to Memphis by truck from Michigan.
