Peabody Place hosts Tax Day "Tax Relief Party"

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (April, 15, 1999) -- In honor of tax day, Peabody Place will host a "tax relief lunch" on April 15 at The World’s Fare food court, located in the Pembroke Square Building at 119 S. Main.

From 12 noon until 2 p.m., members of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra Quartet will play soothing music. Free massages will also be available on a limited basis.

For those who have not completed their taxes, tax forms and stamps will be available on request.

The World’s Fare offers diners quick, convenient lunch entrees through six different outlets: The Garden Bar, Amazin’ Asian, Tutto Italian, Mex Fest, American Picnic and The Bakery.

The "tax relief lunch" is sponsored by Belz Enterprises and FM-100. This event the first of a series of Peabody Place hosted events. Peabody Place is an eight block mixed-use facility in downtown Memphis. A Chinese art museum, restaurants, a grocery store, a card shop and several other stores have located in the Peabody Place retail space providing convenient goods and services for people living, working and visiting downtown.
