Phase II Construction Proceeds Rapidly

Construction continues to move along rapidly on Phase II of Festival Bay at International Drive in Orlando, Florida. Scheduled for a grand opening on April 3, 2003, the complex will house some of Orlando's best destination retailers.

Joining Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, the 20-screen Cinemark Theater and Van's Skatepark will be a 40,000-square-foot Shepler's Western Wear; Ron Jon Surf Shop; Hilo Hattie; F.Y.E, one of the nation's leading music and entertainment retailers; and Brainfood, a 20,000-square-foot bookstore. Other notable tenants will include BCBG, Urban Planet, Pacific Sunwear, Charlotte Russe, Big Dogs, A&W®, and approximately 275,000 square feet of small retail shops.

Poised to become one of Orlando's premier retail and entertainment destinations, Festival Bay at International Drive is located in the heart of the city's tourist district, adjacent to Belz Factory Outlet World and across from Belz Designer Outlet Centre. The shopping complexes attract 12 million visitors each year.

The 850,000-square-foot addition will bring Festival Bay at International Drive to 1.1 million square feet. From a wide variety of apparel retailers, to tropical-themed restaurants, to the 60,000-square-foot indoor skatepark, Festival Bay at International Drive is sure to offer something for the entire family.

When complete, the complex will feature an elegant tropical motif with a series of inter-connected walkways and plazas around a 3-acre bay. Careful blending of Caribbean architecture and the upbeat, recreational atmosphere of the Florida lifestyle will provide visitors a fun and relaxing environment in which to shop, eat or play.
