Peabody Place Restaurants Offer Variety of Food and Price

Restaurant Diversity Makes Area Unique in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, February 14 – A wide variety and large selection of food options are key components in any successful urban retail development – Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center located in Downtown Memphis is no exception.

Peabody Place offers one of the widest variety of restaurants, menus and prices available in one centralized, walkable location in Memphis. In addition to the city’s largest collection of restaurants within a two minute walk, easy access to most of the entertainment options available downtown, makes Peabody Place an attractive dining destination.

“It has been our experience at locations throughout the country that unique restaurants offering choices in price, menu options and atmosphere are very important when developing any urban business convenience and recreational destination,” said Andrew J. Groveman, senior vice president for Belz. “We have purposely provided an attractive blend of restaurants at Peabody Place that creates an attraction in itself as well as serving as a catalyst for other successful downtown development.”

The 13 Peabody Place restaurants offer a variety of dining experiences. Diners can enjoy hamburger joints and bar food, or contemporary food served in trendy atmospheres. The wide range of food options are clear from the different countries that the restaurants are styled after – a Japanese sushi bar, an Irish pub, a Brazilian steakhouse, a French bistro and an Italian pizza joint. All of the Peabody Place restaurants are conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a short walk from safe and accessible parking garages.

Downtown workers can choose from the assortment of lunch options including pizza, burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, soup, wings, salads or an extensive selection of sandwiches – all within a short walk from the Main Street Trolley.

Among the eight city blocks and 13 restaurants that make up Peabody Place, diners can find:

  • 44 choices of pizzas
  • 59 choices of salads
  • 68 choices of appetizers
  • 22 choices of soups
  • 115 choices of sandwiches
  • 80 different entrees
  • 20 choices of burgers
  • 54 different desserts
  • To make eating Downtown even sweeter, diners can save money at certain Peabody Place restaurants with the Peabody Place VIP card. The card provides savings of up to $300 at participating Peabody Place restaurants and shops, including free dessert at Encore and Texas de Brazil. Patrons need to visit Walsons Jewelers to pick up a Peabody Place VIP card.
