More Fun Coming to Belz Festival Bay Mall at International Drive Coming in 2006, surfers will be able to catch a wave indoors when Ron Jon Surfpark opens. A new concept, the surfpark will use state-of-the-art technology to create the perfect wave in a large indoor pool that provides a consistent and controlled environment. Other attractions will include a large surf pool for intermediate to advanced surfers and body boarders; a training surf pool for beginners and novices; Flowrider™ standing-wave and children’s water play area; and the Surf School curriculum, complete with a high-performance training program. The surfpark also will feature a surf-themed Mexican restaurant and a Surfpark Shop, which will carry a full line of surfing and body boarding equipment, accessories, and beach and surf lifestyle clothing. Those craving Florida seafood will want to stop by Dixie Crossroads. Opening in early 2006, Dixie Crossroads specializes in fresh Florida seafood brought in daily by local commercial shrimpers and fishermen. The 9,500-square-foot restaurant will join CaddyShack® and Fuddruckers along the mall’s lakefront, which offers dining with a splendid view. This summer, Linen Dot Com will open its only United States operation at Belz Festival Bay Mall at International Drive. The 8,500- square-foot store will offer table-top linens, bedroom linens, and kitchen and home décor items. The Little Princess Boutique, a retailer of high-end children’s wear specializing in young girls’ party dresses and accessories, will open in June. Hungry shoppers can now enjoy the Asian Café Chinese restaurant, which opened in 1,400 square feet of space in April. The new eatery boasts a 75-seat dining area and offers café-style seating alongside the center’s beautiful interior “bay” water feature and fountain. Belz Festival Bay Mall at International Drive has greatly expanded its lineup of retail options with the additions of Fantasy Arcade, a stateof- the-art video arcade room; Hawaiian Kiteworks, specializing in wind art and high-performance kites; Hayron Arte Galeria, an art dealer offering native South American art and sculptures; and Koh-E-Noor, a jewelry, perfume and gift store. National Book Warehouse, featuring more than 20,000 square feet of hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, calendars, stationery and music; Smoothy Bee, offering smoothies, fresh-baked goods and refreshments; Suit Warehouse, specializing in custom-tailored suits designed in Italy and sold at 50 to 70 percent less than regular prices; and Discover Cuts hair salon also opened recently at the center. In April, the mall welcomed Victoria’s Gold & Silver Jewelry and Flagland. In addition to its new, 1,058-square-foot store, Victoria’s Gold& Silver Jewelry has a kiosk in the mall, which will continue to operate.
