New Restaurants, Retail Shops Announce Openings at Festival Bay

Festival Bay at International Drive Located on the north end of the three-mile strip known for its many shopping, dining and entertainment options, Orlando's first lifestyle, retail and entertainment center, Festival Bay at International Drive, delivers a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience for the whole family.

Six retailers and four restaurants have announced plans to locate at Festival Bay at International Drive, adding to the complex's mix of fun and unique retailers and eateries. The deals add more than 50,000 square feet of leased space to the center, and with the addition of these new leases, the 1.1 million-square-foot complex is approximately 80 percent leased.

"We are extremely excited about the continued confidence retailers and restaurants have demonstrated in the development of such a unique concept as Festival Bay at International Drive," said Andrew J. Groveman, senior vice president of B.T. Orlando, which owns and manages the property.

"While the small shop leasing has not gone as quickly as we had originally hoped, sales by our major anchors continue to rocket forward with unprecedented increases in the first quarter of 2004. As a result of the anchor stores' high productivity, the small shopleasing is rapidly gaining momentum."

Festival Bay at International Drive's anchor tenants are all new to the Orlando market and reflect the center's commitment to providing residents and tourists an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Cinemark Theatres, Vans Skatepark, Steve & Barry's University Sportswear, Sheplers Western Wear and Ron Jon Surf Shop are all among the unique tenants who anchor the center.
