New Retailers to Offer Variety of Wares: From Books, to Home Furnishings, to Antiques

In addition to new restaurants, Festival Bay at International Drive continues to expand with a wide variety of retail destinations slated to open during 2004.

"As the economy picks up and our anchor stores are proving successful, the smaller retailers are beginning to take notice of the unlimited potential a complex such as Festival Bay at International Drive holds," said Groveman. "With ready access to a significant residential and tourist base, plus a concept that keeps patrons coming back, the benefits to retailers are tremendous."

The largest of the new tenants is National Book Warehouse, one of the country's leading booksellers. Books, calendars, stationary and music will be available to shoppers in the new 20,000-square-foot space. The store offers an extensive collection of children's favorites, and advocates education through its Teachers of America Program, which offers a special 15 percent discount to teachers, librarians and school administrators from pre-school through college.

Another big addition to Festival Bay at International Drive will be Linen Dot Com, which is scheduled to open this summer. The 8,500-square-foot store, which will be the company's only operation in the United States, will offer table-top linens, bedroom linens, kitchen items and home décor.

Shoppers in search of a unique gift or the perfect conversation piece will find their treasure at Zirbes Antiques and Collectibles, opening in early summer. The 3,000 square feet of space will house special antiques and gifts for a variety of decors.

Flagland will feature banners and flags to celebrate all seasons and holidays in a new 940-square-foot store set to open late this summer.

Charlotte RusseWhen a little pampering is in order, Le's Professional is just the place. The new 970-square-foot nail salon will debut next door to Charlotte Russe. For a great new hair style, or just a trim, Discover Cuts will open a new, 1,300-square-foot salon. Both retailers are scheduled to open late this summer.
