Belz Factory Outlet Worlds Setting Industry Standards for More Than 20 Years

When Belz opened its first factory outlet mall in 1979, the company set new standards in outlet shopping. Located just minutes from Memphis, Belz Factory Outlet Mall was the first enclosed outlet mall in the United States.

Since then, Belz has continuously raised the bar when it comes to providing quality, brand name products to shoppers in the most comfortable, attractive settings available.

Today, the company owns and manages five factory outlet malls in Florida, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico. Last year it completed major facade renovations at Belz Factory Outlet World - Orlando.

"The retail industry is constantly changing, and one reason the Belz Factory Outlet Worlds are so successful is because we are continuously adapting to new environments," said Andrew J. Groveman, president of Belz's Factory Outlet Division. "We are always looking for ways to attract new shoppers, as well as develop programs that retain our loyal customers."

Belz also introduced the Belz Bucks Bonus Card last year, offering customers a new way to recognize significant savings in factory outlet shopping. Available to tour groups, convention groups, and at the malls, the Belz Bucks Bonus Card allows retailers to customize their offer and update it every six months.

Florida's Busiest Intersection Home To Belz Factory Outlet World and Belz Designer Outlet Centre

More than 43 million tourists make Orlando their vacation destination each year, and the city is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country, with a population of more than 1.6 million people. Belz Factory Outlet World - Orlando and Belz Designer Outlet Centre are at the heart of this activity in highly visible locations near major Orlando tourist attractions.

Factory Outlet World OrlandoBelz Factory Outlet World - Orlando fronts I-4 and the Florida Turnpike, Florida's busiest intersection with 80,000 cars passing by daily. The center is adding a new, 8,000-square-foot Calvin Klein store, while Kenneth Cole is expanding to more than 5,000 square feet of space. Texas de Brazil, an authentic Brazilian-style steakhouse, also opened its doors earlier this year.

Belz Factory Outlet World - St. Augustine Situated Near Affluent Resorts and Vacation Homes

Located along the heavily traveled tourist route of I-95, Belz Factory Outlet World - St. Augustine is situated in St. Johns County, an extremely vibrant and expanding market. Only minutes from high-end resorts and vacation homes, the mall is within 20 miles of Jacksonville, Florida and more than 1 million residents. The combined tourism of Jacksonville and St. Augustine reaches more than 3 million people a year.

Puerto Rico's First Enclosed Outlet Mall begins Outparcel Development

Belz Factory Outlet World - Puerto Rico combines outlet shopping with unique restaurants and entertainment components, including a seven-screen movie theater. Currently, the center boasts 446,000 square feet of space in the heart of paradise. Uno Dos Tres opened a 5,000-square-foot store featuring value merchandise at affordable prices, while a private catalog company, Limited Editions for Her, has signed a lease for 3,000 square feet.

An outparcel development that includes free-standing buildings at the front of the mall is underway and will add another 24,000 square feet. The new tenants will include banks, restaurants, and a new convenience store with a gas station. Situated on a major highway, the property is easily accessible by 1.9 million nearby residents and more than 4 million tourists who visit annually.

Belz's Pigeon Forge Mall at Entrance to Country's Most Visited National Park

Located at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains, the most visited National Park in the United States, Belz Factory Outlet World - Pigeon Forge is perfectly situated to greet more than 10 million tourists a year. With more than 450,000 square feet of retail space, including enclosed centers and strip shopping areas, the property is the largest and most convenient shopping destination in the area.

American Outpost has signed a lease for 4,300 square feet to sell its line of men's and women's casual lifestyle clothing. In addition, Dickies has relocated to a 3,120-square-foot store featuring the company's new store concept.
