Centennial Crossing Fits
Needs of Growing Community

With a location in southeast Memphis and a neighbor like FedEx, Belz's Centennial Crossing is prepared for action. The 43-acre center has grown to include 430,000 square feet of space at the corner of Hacks Cross and Winchester Roads in the fastest growing community in West Tennessee.

Not long after the opening of the center, the one-million-square-foot FedEx World Headquarters was built across the street. Centennial Crossing's golden location has sparked the interest of retailers, leaving only 2,000 square feet of available small shop space, and a build-to-suit option for up to 75,000 square feet available between Michaels and Costco.

Major employers like FedEx have increased the area's residential population, with 175,220 people living within a five-mile radius of the center. Centennial Crossing's many retail offerings bring customers to the center on a daily basis.

"Southeast Shelby County is rapidly growing and Belz is proud that Centennial Crossing is a part of that growth. Our superb location in the Nonconnah corridor allows us to reach a wide variety of consumers and offers businesses exciting incentives for moving to the area," said Morris Thomas, vice president and director of brokerage and leasing for Belz.

Costco, a wholesale membership warehouse club, and Lowe's, a home improvement center, are anchor stores. Costco's gasoline station, available to the club's members, is also located within Centennial Crossing. Among the retailers' reasons for choosing Centennial Crossing are the area's strong business base and growing number of households.

Other well-known stores can be found throughout. Michael's, the nation's largest retailer of arts and crafts materials, provides a mixed bag of supplies for projects, hobbies and special events in 22,970 square feet of space.

Walgreens, the nation's leading pharmacy retailer, allows customers to easily pick up or drop off prescriptions with its drive-thru window.

When it's time to get something to eat, Centennial Crossing has that covered, too. Starbucks Coffee provides a morning cup of coffee or a sweet afternoon snack from its cozy store or through its convenient drive-thru. On the Border, a Mexican grill, is a festive choice for lunch or dinner.

Other popular retailers in the center include Verizon Wireless, Bensinger's Fine Cleaners, Supercuts, Dilday T.V. and Memphis Mattress Wholesale.
