Watoto De Afrika Performance Ensemble In "Deck Halls" - Fridays 7pm - 9pm, Saturdays 5pm - 7pm, Sundays 4pm - 5:30pm through December 23rd!  The Watoto De Afrika performing arts program has provided African American youth ages 8 to 17 an opportunity to discover, develop and display their talent.  Students communicate their feelings, ideas and attitudes through music, drama and dance.  We invite you to enjoy their performances at Peabody Place Retail & Entertainment Center throughout the holidays.

2007 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Post Race Party & Awards Ceremony / Saturday December 1st - 2pm - 4pm
Peabody Place hosts all runners and their families for the Post Race Party at Peabody Place Retail & Entertainment Center. Daddy Mack Blues Band and Joyce Cobb performing live from 2pm - 4pm at Jillians Club Atlas and Peabody Place Main Stage!

The official Awards Ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. as part of the Post-Race Celebration at Peabody Place (from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.) For a map showing this location, click here. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Open Division-only of all three races.

Memphis Grizzlies Opening Night PEP Rally At Peabody Place Retail & Entertainment Center, Tuesday, October 30th, 5:30p.m. - 7:30p.m. - Get up close and personal with the Grizzlies and get fired up for opening night.  Festivities include: Player appearances, Dance Team, Street Team, Interviews, Giveaways, Autographs, Grizzlies Merchandise, Live Radio Remote, And More!  FREE to attend.  Invite your friends!

NASCAR Fanfest Moves To Peabody Place Retail & Entertainment Center, Thursday, October 25, 5:00p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Featuring a free driver autograph session at Peabody Place, the festivities begin at 5p.m. with a show car parade where NASCAR drivers will make their way to Peabody Place for the autograph session.  There will also be a silent auction benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and appearance by "Home Improvement" star Mickey Jones.

The Memphis Music & Heritage Festival - On Labor Day weekend, it won’t be business as usual as the Center for Southern Folklore transforms a small section of Main Street into the setting for a special celebration of the music, art, crafts, food and heritage of the Mid-South known as The Memphis Music & Heritage Festival. Now in its 20th year, the 2007 festival expands to five stages over two days to showcase both the famous and the not-so-famous who make our region such a special place to live. 2006 Indie Memphis Film Festival / Soul of Southern Film

The Indie Memphis Film Festival attracts approximately 5,000 filmmakers and festival goers.  All movies and events will take place at Muvico Peabody Place 22 Theaters, 150 Peabody Place, unless otherwise noted.  Cost is $6.00, ticket packages available.  Tickets may be purchased at the Muvico ticket counter or on-line at www.Muvico.com.  Movie times to be announced.

Memphis Grizzlies Pep Rally

Come to Peabody Place Retail & Entertainment Center to rally, Grizzlies style! Rookies Rudy Gay, Kyle Lowry and Alexander Johnson will be answering questions and signing autographs. The Grizzlies Dance Team will be available for pictures. Meet and have your picture taken with Grizz, the mascot. The "My Groove To The Downtown Beat" Photo Contest

Memphis Downtowner Magazine and Peabody Place Entertainment & Retail Center invite you to show us what Downtown Memphis means to you. Capture life. Capture emotion. Capture what groves you to Downtown. Photos will be on display in Peabody Place during September, October and November. Gallery visitors will vote for their favorite photograph which will be designated as the People's Choice winner. Plus, local celebrity judges will select 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall winners. Each of the four winners will receive dinner for two at a Peabody Place restaurant. The three overall winners will be featured in the October issue of Memphis Downtowner, and the People's Choice winner will be featured in the November issue.
