Belz Factory Outlet World – St.
Augustine
Hosts Mobile Mammography Program
and Community Blood Drive
WHAT:
Belz Factory Outlet World – St. Augustine, in conjunction with
St. Vincent's, is hosting a Mobile Mammography event. A bus will be
stationed outside of the mall to perform mammograms on those who have
registered in advance. The tests will be performed using the R2 ImageChecker,
a computer-aided detection device that assists the Radiologist in interpretation
of the mammogram, serving as a double reader. This technology has been
proven to catch potential breast problems earlier, therefore allowing
for better outcomes. To register, please call St. Vincent's at 904/308-3780.
In addition, Belz is partnering with the Blood Center of the St. Johns
to host a community blood drive to benefit the blood banks within St.
Johns County. To donate, please visit the Blood Mobile, which will be
parked in front of the mall's fountain.
