Belz Southridge Industrial Park Continues to Grow with New Lease, Expansion
MEMPHIS, Tennessee, May 19, 2005 – Southridge Industrial Park is continuing its growth with another new lease and an expansion, Belz announced today. Total Logistics Consultants, a third-party logistics company, will lease 40,000 square feet at the park and the Purdy Corporation will expand its warehouse operation at the park.
Southridge Industrial Park, which offers 1,600,000 square feet of upscale industrial space and industrial land parcels up to 50 acres, is located in southeast Shelby County and served by Burlington Northern Rail. Southridge's attractive landscaping, prime location in the southeast submarket and updated building design have helped to bring in several tenants.
Total Logistics Consultants will open early this summer. Started in Bartlett, Tennessee in 2002 by Paul Brehm and Sharon Frazier, the company will use its space at Southridge Industrial Park as its headquarters, as well as a center for warehousing and trucking. The company has customers across the United States and handles all aspects of transportation from freight and air to brokerage and warehousing.
The Purdy Corporation has leased warehouse space at Southridge Industrial Park since 2001. Purdy manufactures paintbrushes and rollers used by professionals and homeowners alike. Purdy was acquired by Sherwin-Williams, one of the world's leading companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sale of coatings and related products to professional, industrial, commercial and retail customers, in 2004.
