HALLOWBEANIE BIZARRE COMES TO BELZ FACTORY OUTLET WORLD - LAKELAND

Lakeland, Tenn. (Oct. 19, 1998) -- Get into the Halloween spirit and buy, sell, and trade Beanie Babies at the same time at the "Hallowbeanie Bizarre" at Belz Factory World - Lakeland on Saturday, October 31st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beanie Baby collectors, aficionados and novices alike, can browse over forty vendors offering Beanie Babies of all varieties. Dress as your favorite Beanie Baby or a costume of your choosing and participate in the costume contest for children and adults from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in several categories.
    Radio station WRVR 104.5 will be on hand to give away free pumpkins from 10:00 a.m. to noon for the first 104 kids who decorate their pumpkins like their favorite Beanie Baby. In addition, prizes will be awarded at noon.
    Visitors certainly won't want to miss Froggy 94 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Treats from the famous "Rolling Candy Coffin" will be distributed at this time.
    Even McGruff the Crime Dog will be part of the festivities as he visits the mall from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, courtesy of the Shelby County Sheriff's Department.
    "This is a great way for both adults and children to enjoy the Halloween festivities together and even get a head start on their holiday shopping," says Andrew J. Groveman, President of the Factory Outlet Division of Belz Enterprises.
    And if you're in the market for a car, you can preview the 1999 Saturn line of cars and get free prizes from Saturn of Memphis.
    Belz Factory Outlet World - Lakeland is open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
