Belz Factory Outlet World – Lakeland
Hosts Holiday Celebration

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (November 17, 1997) – Belz Factory Outlet World will host a holiday celebration that will include a day of shopping bargains, the City of Lakeland Christmas Parade featuring the mayor and board of commissioners, prize giveaways, special appearances by local cast members of John Grisham’s "The Rainmaker" and St. Nick himself, Saturday, November 22, 1997.

The bargain hunting begins when the mall opens at 10:00 a.m. The new annex stores, including Off 5th Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet, Foot Locker, Foot Quarters, Danskin, American Tourister and Big Dog, are being showcased and are offering holiday sales. The Christmas parade kicks off at noon, followed by the Riverkings Hockey Street Expo, festivities and prize giveaways from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the annex. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., Santa will be on hand in the main mall to listen to Christmas wishes. Entertainment will be provided by The Lori Britt baton twirlers along with live music by 221-B.

Local Memphis attorney Wayne Emmons who plays "Prince" in "The Rainmaker" and Pam Chapman who plays "Vera" will sign autographs and giveaway John Grisham’s "The Rainmaker" posters.
