... A new face. Belz Factory Outlet World in south Orlando is wrapping up a significant renovation.
The face lift includes a new silhouette, gateway, towers and lighted signage.
The goal is to grab the attention of drivers on Interstate 4 and Florida's Turnpike traveling by at an average speed of 55 miles per hour, explains Andy Groveman, president of the Belz Factory Outlet division of Memphis, Tenn.-headquartered Belz Enterprises.
Although Groveman declines to disclose how much Belz is spending on the renovation, he refers to it as "a substantial upgrade."
Belz is erecting two 60-foot towers to anchor the ends of the new Mall 1 facade and a new entry gateway at International Drive and Oak Ridge Road ...
