Flapdoodles Hosts Project KidCareŽ at
Belz Designer Outlet Center - Orlando

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 15, 1997) – Flapdoodles at Belz Designer Outlet Center in Orlando is hosting Project KidCareŽ Photo ID event on Sunday, May 25, 1997, as a part of a national effort to provide parents with personal safety IDs of their children in the event that their child is missing.

Photographs will be taken from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Flapdoodles store in Belz Designer Outlet Center, 5251 International Drive. Parents will also receive a KidCare ID booklet to record and maintain current vital statistics of their children along with the free ID photograph.

Project KidCare, developed by Polaroid Corporation in conjunction with The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), is a program designed to raise awareness of child safety and provide parents with an effective tool to aid law enforcement authorities in the search for a missing child.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, over one million children are reported missing in our country each year and increasing awareness about missing children has never been more critical."This event will benefit all parents of the greater Orlando area," says Andrew J. Groveman, president of Belz Factory Outlet World division. "By having this event at the mall, we hope to increase awareness to everyone that this is an important step to take to insure the safety of your child."
