PEABODY PLACE ENTERTAINMENT AND RETAIL CENTER OBSERVES NATIONAL DONOR AWARENESS MONTH
Center Sponsors 3rd Annual Organ Donor Awareness Poster Awards

WHAT:

Winners of the 2003 Link Up for Life poster contest, will be recognized and honored with prizes during an awards ceremony. Participants submitted posters depicting their knowledge of organ and tissue donation. WMC-TV sports anchor Jarvis Greer will emcee the event. "Rockey" the Redbirds mascot, the Redhots Cheerleaders, "Griz" and members of the Memphis Grizzlies Dance Team will entertain the crowd and give away team souvenirs and prizes.

Link Up For Life is the Mid-South Transplant Foundation's high school outreach program, designed to promote organ donation through a curriculum specifically geared to educate high school students.

Visitors who sign donor cards will receive an autograph from Olympic medalist and liver donation recipient, Chris Klug.
