TENNESSEE’S FIRST BURKE’S OUTLET COMING TO BELZ FACTORY OUTLET WORLD PIGEON FORGE

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (March 25, 2005) – Burke’s Outlet, part of a fast growing retail chain of more than 450 outlet stores, has chosen Belz Factory Outlet World Pigeon Forge as the location of its first Tennessee store. The new Outlet will debut at the mall in early April.

“The addition of first Tennessee Burke’s Outlet to Belz Factory Outlet World Pigeon Forge is of great significance to retail customers statewide,” said Andrew J. Groveman, president of Belz Factory Outlet Division. “The new Outlet store will enhance and compliment the existing tenants and offer great values that our customers have come to expect from us.”

The new Burke’s Outlet store will occupy over 10,500 square feet of retail space near Entrance Four and offer a wide variety of brand name apparel, shoes and gifts for the entire family. Merchandise assortments consist of vendor closeouts, private label import and domestic buys and off-priced lines. Customers can find merchandise at everyday savings of up to 70 percent off department store prices.

In addition, Burke’s supports their everyday low price philosophy with a selection of in-store programs to grant shoppers even bigger savings. Discount programs include: Monday Club, a senior shopping program that entitles customers ages 50 and older to 15 percent off all purchases every Monday; Friday Club, entitles shoppers not yet 50 years of age to 15 percent off all purchases on Fridays; and the Frequent Shopper discount card program, which is open to customers of all ages and entitles cardholders to larger discounts upon filling the card.
