Veteran Marketing Pro Delivers Belz's Message Across the Country

Jeff Gaudino is the kind of guy that you just know is involved in communications - he is open, articulate, has a ready smile, and is quick to laugh.

In this case, looks aren't deceiving. Jeff is vice president of InterMark Communications Group, the in-house marketing firm of Belz.He is responsible for all of the marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts of the company.

Jeff came to Belz in 1996 after running his own advertising agency in Miami, Florida, for eight years, serving clients like Carnival Airlines, Arby's, the Miami Heat, and the University of Miami. Earlier he had been with several marketing companies in various capacities, including media planning and account supervisor. During this time, one of the accounts he served was Belz. His perspective of Belz then was that of an outsider; today, he's very much the insider, fully aware of where the corporate priorities are and how to effectively deliver the company's messages.

"Jeff has been an invaluable asset to the company since he started here seven years ago," said Andrew J. Groveman, senior vice president, Belz. "His marketing skills have played a tremendous role in the overall growth of the company. Plus, his friendly manner always makes working with him a pleasure."

As vice president, Jeff oversees all of the marketing of Belz's properties - including Festival Bay at International Drive, the Factory Outlet Division, Peabody Place, and the many other retail, office and industrial properties in the company's portfolio. From radio spots, to ads and commercials, it's all under his watch, even the brochures and billboards. But, with more than 30 years of experience in the advertising business, Jeff takes it all in stride.

"I have a lot of pride in the company and the talented people I am surrounded by," Jeff explained. "They are the ones who make it possible for me to successfully market Belz and its properties every day."

Outside the office, Jeff is an avid golfer with a handicap of six. One of his favorite golfing buddies is his brother, PGA pro Paul Azinger.

Jeff lives with his favorite foursome - his wife, Carol, and two children, Michael and Katherine - on a golf course in Memphis.
